Customer Information
At For the Joy of It, we honor your privacy. We will never sell, rent or distribute your customer information to any third party. All personal information submitted to For the Joy of It is held in the strictest confidence. Additionally all credit-card transactions are encrypted over 128 bit SSL connection. For your protection we recommend that you use either Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 and above, or Netscape Navigator version 4.7 and above, in order to take advantage of those browsers advanced security features to keep your personal information safe on the internet.
Custom Orders

Any custom order requires a 50% non-refundable deposit.

Method of Payment

You can safely use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit/check cards for online purchases from For the Joy of it. When you select items for purchase, you will automatically be sent to our secure (SSL) server, where all of the information entered is encrypted. The actual transaction is processed by Authorize.net, a leading provider of Internet-based transaction services since 1996, with thousands of online and traditional business customers throughout the world.

If you are not comfortable ordering on-line, you may call us at (817) 514-3008, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CST, and place your order over the telephone. Any means of payment other than credit/check cards should be arranged over the phone. For payments by money order, we will hold your item and ship after receiving your money order. Personal checks are also accepted, but we will hold your order until the check clears our bank, which usually requires 7 - 10 business days. When you place an order over the phone, we will remove your item from the site and hold it for 7 days, awaiting payment receipt. If we have not received payment within 7 days, the item will once again be offered for sale on the website.
Shipping

All orders are shipped F.O.B. North Richland Hills, Texas unless otherwise agreed via email, phone, or FAX.
We use FedEx Ground for our shipping, with packages sent out twice a week. Packages are usually shipped within two business days. Sorry, no COD shipments. Packages can be tracked through FedEx's online tracking service. We try to keep all items in stock, but the nature of these natural and handmade products means supplies are limited and therefore shortages will sometimes occur.
Claims/Returns
  • Any discrepancies are to be reported within 2 busines days of receipt of merchandise.
  • No returns will be accepted without prior authorization.
  • All returns must be well packed in their original packaging (or something equally protective) to prevent breakage and insured against loss or damage. All returned items must be in new condition. We ask that customers be responsible for return shipping charges, including shipping insurance.
  • Each carving is handmade and will vary in size, shape and coloring. This does not mean that defects or poor workmanship are to be accepted.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return of merchandise is subject to a restocking fee to be determined at time of return.

Damaged Merchandise
  • Broken items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt and held with the original packing materials until notified by For the Joy of It as to disposition.
  • We ship all items fully insured, carefully packed with extra protection to prevent damage in transit. However, if damage does occur in shipping, it must be reported immediately to FedEx to file a claim for a refund. Please save all packing materials for any such dealings with the carrier.
