The largest crystals we have ever seen in a cathedral of this height ... must have taken eons to form. In most areas, the crystals from the 2 sides meet. 22 1/2 by 11 x 5 1/2 means all the weight is "out front" for you to see.

Although the large crystals mean large walls, they are facsinating... from the outside, there is a white crystal layer. Then there is a deep purple line. The inner white layer becomes the large crystals.
